DAY 1 WINNIPEG to PRAIRIE KNIGHTS CASINO RESORT, FORT YATES SD.  1 night at this beautiful resort where you can enjoy a pool, hot tub, and fitness room and if you feel lucky try out the casino.

                                                                                                                                     DAY 2 FORT YATES TO DEADWOOD, SD for 3 nights,

 

before checking in we will stop in at Sturgis Museum see the motorcycles of yesterday, the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is the largest motorcycle rally in the world, held annually in Sturgis, South Dakota, 2023 will be the 83rd year.                       Checking in about 4pm at our beautiful home The Deadwood Lodge sitting atop with million-dollar views of Deadwood (check it by hitting the link on the picture), great rooms, view, food, hospitality, casino, lounge, it has it all truly the most beautiful resort in Deadwood.

                                                                                                                                 DAY 3: 

This will be a full outing day of fun, sightseeing, shopping and seeing 2 of the most noted Memorials; Mount Rushmore National Memorial, then on to Crazy Horse Memorial, where we have additionally included the tour down to the base where your guide will explain the history of the amazing sculpture in granite of Lakota Warrior Crazy Horse. Visit Keystone time lunch and refreshments, souvenirs, pictures of the Old Wild West from its origins in 1883 as a mining town, it has since transformed itself into a resort town, but it still holds all the charm of days gone by and you may see the "Shoot Out" while taking in the town.

Stop at the Visitors Center at Lake Pactola -see the sight where National Treasure Movie was filmed, time to get those great photos.

When we return home to The Lodge you should be ready for a break, but if not jump on the (San Francisco Style) trolly and head downtown for your evening in Deadwood

      

 DAY 4: On your own to check out all the history, shops, attraction, casinos.

We have listed just some, but we will give you so much more information on the bus.

Mount Moriah Cemetery Small Fee

Deadwood’s historic cemetery includes such notables as Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane, a self-guided tour where you will learn about some of Deadwood’s most interesting characters!

Days of 76 Museum:

Home of the largest collection of horse-drawn vehicles in South Dakota and  collection of important Old West Pioneer and American Indian artifacts, archives, firearms, & artwork.

Visit and play at all the historic casinos and learn about the Slime Factory now call "Deadwood Mountain Grand Resort" after a multimillion-dollar overhaul to turn it from a Slime Factory to a Casino Resort.

 

Day 5: Deadwood to Dakota Magic, SD. 1 night stay they have a wonderful large sports bar where we can get together to have some laughs-- until we see you again. 

                                                                                                                                 Day6 : Before returning to Winnipeg we will stop to pick up our Duty Free Purchases and stop for shopping in Grand Forks for an hour.
