October 5, 24 Day 1, Winnipeg - Minneapolis, MN where we will spend our 1st. night of this trip.

 

Day 2  Minneapolis– Champaign, IL  heading south to our overnight destination.

Day 3 Champaign- Memphis for a 1-night  stay

Day 4  Memphis- Baton Rouge- for a 3 night stay at the beautiful Lauberge Casino Resort Hotel. 

                      Day 5:   During our stay in Baton Rouge you will enjoy  a Tour of Avery island and the Famous Tabasco Factory as well a lovely lunch.

                      Day 6: You will have an exciting Swamp Tour guaranteed to be a  fun and interesting time. We will tour  Old State Capitol which holds a few surprises for you.  Visit and tour Houmas House Plantation (you will  experience the life on a sugarcane plantation in the 1800’s, the mansion has been restored to the antebellum era. The gardens are expansive and the most exquisite in all of Plantation Country.

Day 7 Baton Rouge-New Orleans- Enroute to New Orleans we stop for a tour and Lunch at the incredible Oak Alley Plantation.  arriving in New Orleans for a 4 night stay, your hotel is a few block away from the Famous Bourbon Street in the French Quarter. 

                     Day 8,9, 10 ( Friday, Saturday & Sunday in this amazing interesting and fun place called " New Orleans "we have several tours included for you (day of tours may change due to weather)  Tours included while in New Orleans are:

                    Mardi Gras Float Museum| Mardi Gras Costume Tour | City Tour | Sculpture Gardens | Katrina Memorial |  Cemetery Tour | Sunday we enjoy the beautiful Natchez Steamboat Cruise and  Brunch.  Places you will visit on your own: French Market | Jackson Square | Cafe Du Monde for the amazing Beignets a must to have. We will give more information of the bus on things to see and do while here. Evenings are on your own ( a must is Bourbon Street at night it is like no other place, perhaps book a supper at the famous Emeril Lagasse Restaurants. Take a tour of the French Quarter by Carriage ( highly recommended) more information will be provided on bus during trip.

Day 11 New Orleans - Memphis for  2night stay, at Southland Casino and Hotel            Day 12 Welcoming you to Memphis we have a fabulous Mo-Jo Tour  of the birth place of rock"N" roll , you will feel the essence and heart of Memphis with this unique tour,  of the Lorraine Hotel, Sun Studios, the soulful sounds of Stax museum, Peabody Hotel and the Famous Schwab general store, ending our day on the the amazing Beale Street where  the "Blues Music" will rock your soul.

Day 13  Memphis -  Champaign this day we are starting our journey back home we will have so much to talk about see your wonderful pictures you captured.

Day 14 Champaign - Minneapolis 1 night stay 

Day 15 Minneapolis- Winnipeg- Your family and friend will be welcoming you back home.

 

Baton Rouge 3 nights

 Tours include some of the wonders of Baton Rouge.  Avery Island- The famous Tabasco Factory - lunch included-Old State Capitol Building
