We will enjoy a comfortable four-night stay in Sault Ste. Marie, allowing us plenty of time to experience                   the area's attractions without constantly packing and unpacking.

 

          Agawa Canyon Train Tour

The highlight of our journey will be the spectacular Agawa Canyon Train Tour.

Climb aboard the train in Sault Ste. Marie and travel north into the rugged beauty of the Canadian Shield. The journey takes you through forests, alongside lakes and rivers, and into the spectacular Agawa Canyon.

🍁 Fall Colors at Their Best

Travelling at the end of September and beginning of October gives us an excellent opportunity to experience Northern Ontario's magnificent autumn scenery.

As the train winds its way through the wilderness, watch for brilliant shades of red, orange, gold and yellow filling the landscape.

Don't forget your camera—this is going to be a photographer's dream!

🚤 Cruise Aboard the Miss Marie

Our adventure will also take us onto the water aboard the Miss Marie, operated by Sault Lock Tours.

Enjoy a fascinating cruise through the Sault Ste. Marie locks, experiencing this remarkable engineering system from the water.

This is a wonderful opportunity to relax, enjoy the scenery and learn more about the history and operation of the St. Marys River and the Soo Locks.

A Unique Sault Ste. Marie Experience

The Miss Marie cruise will be another memorable highlight of our stay in Sault Ste. Marie.

✈️ Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre

We will also visit the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre, where you can step into Canada's fascinating history of bush flying, aviation and forest firefighting.

Explore historic aircraft and learn about the pilots, aircraft and technology that helped connect Canada's remote northern communities and protect Canada's forests.

This is a fascinating attraction that offers something quite different from the other experiences on our tour.

For those who would like to add another exciting adventure to their tour, we will be offering an optional day trip to Mackinac Island, Michigan.

Mackinac Island is located in the United States, so this excursion will require you to cross the Canada–U.S. border. Important Passport Requirement

If you would like to participate in the Mackinac Island day trip, you must advise us at the time of booking.

You will also be required to bring your valid passport and meet all applicable Canada–U.S. entry requirements.

The remainder of our Agawa Canyon Tour remains entirely within Canada.
