I’m reaching out to you today as we have received confirmation from the Province of Manitoba that, due to the wildfires in Northern Manitoba, the 3rd floor of the RBC Convention Centre will be used as a temporary shelter, medical aid, and other emergency response resources for evacuees.
This means that the Brazilian Pavilion is relocating to the 2nd Floor of the RBC Convention Centre and will be re-allocated to Week 2 of the Festival, August 10th to 16th.

The First Nations Pavilion, also located at the RBC Convention Centre, has decided to withdraw from the Festival, as they wish to focus their efforts on helping their community with emergency evacuation response.​

Here are the pavilion changes for those effected:
August 7th. Change here is you will not have Brazilian pavilion in place of will attend Africa.
August 7th - Option change
6:45pm showtime – Africa Pavilion
8:15pm showtime – Hungary-Pannonia Pavilion
9:45pm showtime – Egyptian Pavilion

For those scheduled to attend First Nations August 14th. here is the change: you will now see Brazilian in place of First Nation:

All other dates and pavilions remain unchanged this is only effecting the RBC Convention Centre opening for temporary shelter.
As well as scheduled to see First Nations, with their withdrawal new pavilion has been put into place.
